The Subtlety of Anger

What is anger? We often only think of those people who have loud outbursts as being those with an anger problem. Yet, when we are honest, we all struggle with anger though our expression of anger may differ. Listen as we discuss what the Bible says regarding the emotion of anger and how to biblically deal with it.

“Ever said, ‘I’m not angry, just frustrated’?” Zach Reed peeled back the mask on anger, showing how it hides in excuses, attitudes, and even quiet resentment. Teens often think anger only counts when it explodes, but Zach revealed that its subtle forms are just as destructive—poisoning friendships, families, and our walk with God.

This session challenged teens to stop justifying their reactions and start dealing with the heart behind them. True freedom comes when anger is confessed, forgiven, and replaced with Christ’s peace.

This workshop was one of 15 workshops presented at the 2018 Thee Generation Youth Summit in Menomonee Falls, WI.
